How to Edit Website Content in WordPress

1. Access the WordPress Dashboard

1. Open your browser and go to: https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin

2. Log in using your WordPress admin username and password

2. Edit Pages

If you want to update static content (like “About Us”, “Contact”, or “Home”):

1. In the left menu, click Pages → All Pages.

2. Find the page you want to edit and click Edit (or Edit with Elementor / WPBakery / Block Editor, depending on your theme).

3. Update the text, images, or layout as needed.

4. Click Update (top right corner) to save changes.

3. Edit Posts (Blog Articles)

To modify or add blog posts:

1. Go to Posts → All Posts.

2. Hover over the post you want to edit and click Edit.

3. Update the content, featured image, or categories/tags.

4. Click Update when done.

4. Update Menus (Navigation Bar)

1. Go to Appearance → Menus.

2. Select the menu you want to edit (often called “Main Menu” or “Header Menu”).

3. Add, remove, or reorder menu items.

4. Click Save Menu.

5. Edit Widgets (Sidebar or Footer Sections)

1. Go to Appearance → Widgets (or Appearance → Customize → Widgets in newer WordPress versions).

2. Click the widget area you want to modify (e.g., Footer, Sidebar).

3. Update text or links, then click Save.

6. Change Homepage Content

If your homepage uses a static page:

1. Go to Settings → Reading.

2. Check which page is set as “Homepage.”

3. Then edit that page under Pages → All Pages.

If your homepage uses a builder, open it and click Edit with Elementor or your active builder.

8. Preview Before Publishing

Always click Preview before updating to make sure the layout and formatting look correct.

9. Clear Cache (if using caching plugin or LiteSpeed)

If your site uses caching (LiteSpeed Cache, WP Rocket, etc.), clear cache after updates:

• Go to LiteSpeed Cache → Toolbox → Purge All
  or

• Click Clear Cache from the top admin bar.
